Summary of the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer to join a fast-paced, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in the Financial services or banking sector, specifically in credit risk strategies, and a strong technical background in Cloud Computing, CI/CD pipelines, and Microservices Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices for credit risk strategies within the banking domain.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes to ensure smooth deployment.

  • Deploy and manage microservices on AWS, ensuring scalability and high availability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Improve the performance, reliability, and security of microservices.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize services for scalability.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data integration and management.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices are followed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years of Java development experience, specializing in microservices architecture in banking.

  • Strong expertise in Cloud Computing, CI/CD pipelines, and Microservices Architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS microservices deployment.

  • Medium proficiency in SQL and database concepts.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Knowledge of data warehousing, big data, and cloud ecosystems.

  • Strong understanding of data control, data integrity, and compliance.

  • Familiarity with Bitbucket, API development, and data validation techniques.
