We’re looking for an experienced Engagement Manager with a strong background in data management, BI/DW, and financial services to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader who thrives on building trusted client relationships, delivering complex programmes, and creating real business impact. The hire will come from a strong consultancy background and will have been an Principal Analytics and Data Consultant/ Data Solution Architect – hands on technical previously.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading client engagements end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery against business goals.

Building and maintaining trusted C-suite relationships, advising on data and analytics strategy.

Driving account growth and identifying new opportunities for innovation.

Overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Managing budgets, risks, and performance while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Shaping business reviews and demonstrating the measurable value of engagements.

Supporting recruitment and mentoring of consultants, contributing to team growth and capability.
What we’re looking for:
-
10+ years’ experience in Financial Services / Banking.
-
Extensive experience in enterprise data management, BI/DW implementations, and SQL/database solutions.
-
A strong track record of project leadership – delivering complex, high-value programmes.
- These are based on data configurations leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP and Databricks and Snowflake

Skilled in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban).

Confident working with senior stakeholders, from boardroom presentations to hands-on delivery.

Strong commercial acumen – able to spot opportunities, shape proposals, and drive growth.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
What will set you apart:

Experience in data governance / master data management.

Involvement in pre-sales or account growth.

The ability to lead teams of 5–25 people across multiple engagements.

A proven ability to simplify complex ideas and bring clarity to stakeholders.
Location & Working Pattern
-
Hybrid role, based in Milton Keynes and Northampton – with flexibility to balance office and remote working.
Salary and Benefits:
- Our client is offering a salary of £90,000–£130,000, dependent on experience and capability. In addition, there is a bonus of approximately 15%, along with a range of flexible benefits and participation in a share scheme.
