Are you an experienced Data Solutions Architect looking to lead strategic data management initiatives for top-tier clients? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for you in the Analytics team of one of the UK’s leading Analytics and Data Consultancy which features a number of leading Microsoft and AWS professionals that have worked for a number of leading UK consultancies.
Role Highlights: As a Data Solutions Architect, you will:
- Lead technical teams to design and deliver cutting-edge data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Architect large-scale data solutions including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses using technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse.
- Utilize ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica) for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Drive data governance and management practices with tools like Unity Catalog and Alation, ensuring high-quality, reliable data.
- Act as a trusted client advisor, guiding strategy development and cloud migration initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years in BI/Data Warehousing, with at least 4 years in technical/solution architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with data modeling tools like ERwin and ER/Studio.
- Expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView.
- Industry experience in Insurance or Finance is a plus.
